Yamnaya LLC Privacy Policy — version 2026-09-14
This Privacy Policy explains what Yamnaya LLC ("Yamnaya", "we", "us") collects, why, and who it is shared with. It covers two different people: the contractor who signs up for the Service, and the homeowner who visits a contractor's site built on the Service.
1. What We Collect From Contractors
When a contractor ("Customer") signs up and uses the portal, we collect: the signup fields (business name, legal LLC name, contact name, email, phone, service area, and license number if given); the business's logo (uploaded or generated from a description); photos of the Customer's completed work; the Customer's rate card (the prices it sets for its services); usage meters (how many quotes, leads, and mailers the account has generated); and the Customer's Stripe customer ID, so billing can be tied to the account. We never see or store the Customer's card number — that is handled entirely by Stripe.
2. What Is Collected From Homeowners
A homeowner visiting a Customer's site can get a quote without giving us anything but an address they type in — that address produces an estimate. If the homeowner chooses to submit a lead, we also collect whatever they enter: name, phone, email, and a description of the job, all optional. We also log the homeowner's IP address and browser/device information (user agent) for every visit, the way most websites do.
3. How Homeowner Data Is Used
Homeowner data — the address, the estimate produced, and any lead a homeowner submits — is collected and processed on behalf of the Customer whose site the homeowner used. The Customer, not Yamnaya, owns that data and decides how to follow up with that homeowner. Yamnaya processes it to run the site and hand it to the Customer's portal; Yamnaya does not sell homeowner data or use it to advertise to that homeowner on behalf of anyone else.
4. Mailers and Public Records
When a Customer sends a mailer, the addresses used come from public county parcel records — never a purchased list. Mailers are addressed to "Current Resident"; we do not request, store, or print the names of homeowners on a mailer.
5. Third Parties We Share Data With
Running the Service means some data passes through vendors we've contracted with, each for a specific job:
- Google Cloud — hosts the Service and stores uploaded files (logos, photos).
- Stripe — processes billing and connects Customer accounts that accept card payments; Stripe holds card numbers, we don't.
- Lob — prints and mails postcards on behalf of Customers who use the mailer feature.
- OpenRouter — powers the homeowner "describe your project" box and the AI logo generator; the text or description entered is sent to OpenRouter's model provider to produce a response or an image.
- Esri and USGS — supply the satellite and aerial imagery used to produce estimates and mailer artwork.
We do not sell contractor or homeowner data to anyone, and we do not share it with any party not listed above except as required by law.
6. Retention
We keep account and lead data for as long as the Customer's account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to satisfy accounting, legal, and dispute-resolution needs. A Customer may request deletion of homeowner lead data it no longer needs by contacting us; we will honor that request except where we must keep a record for billing or legal reasons.
7. Opt-Out
Every mailer carries an opt-out line telling the recipient how to stop receiving mail from that Customer. When a homeowner uses it, Yamnaya suppresses that address from future mailer batches sent through the Service. Because mailers are addressed to "Current Resident," an opt-out is recorded against the property address, not a name.
8. Contact
Questions about this policy, or a request to see, correct, or delete your data, can be sent to privacy@yamnaya.dev.
9. California Notice
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) gives you rights to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@yamnaya.dev; we will not discriminate against you for making a request.
10. Florida Notice
If you are a Florida resident, Florida law (including the Florida Information Protection Act, Fla. Stat. § 501.171) requires that we take reasonable measures to protect personal information and notify affected individuals in the event of a data breach as required by that statute. Contact privacy@yamnaya.dev with any question about how your information is protected.
11. Children
The Service is a business tool for contractors and a quoting tool for homeowners; it is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
